Inspired by a cardigan I had and loved as a child. Sometimes it’s nice to take a step back and remember the joys of childhood. This whimsical and fun bobble cardigan will bring out your playful side and give you the upmost joy when you feel the cozy warm softness of Biscotte’s Albus yarn. Named after my Grandmother who taught me the basics of knitting and introduced me to one of my favorite stitches; the Garter Stitch. THIS KNITTING KIT INCLUDES

• BISCOTTE YARNS - ALBUS [50% merino wool, 50% silk; 150 m per 100g] - 5 (5, 6, 7, 7, 8) SKEINS - shown in Acajou

** Albus yarn is no longer available, but it can be substituted with:

• KHULLU [70% Merino NSW (untreated), 30% Yak; 200m per 100g] 4 (4, 5, 6, 6, 6) SKEINS - shown in Music of the night
• HAGRID [85% merino wool sw, 15% nylon; 165 m per 100g] - 5 (5, 6, 7, 7, 8) SKEINS - shown in Pruneau
• MERINO WORSTED [100% Merino wool sw; 200 m per 100g] - 4 (4, 5, 6, 6, 6) SKEINS

IN ADDITION TO THIS KIT, YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING MATERIALS

• Main knitting: Circular needles of 5 mm (US 8) - (with cable lenght of 100cm (40'') for magic loop) and the type of needles preferred for knitting in the round, a small circumference. - or size required to obtain the gauge.
• Ribs: Circular needles of 4.5 mm (US 7) or 0.5 mm less than the size required for the main knit - (with cable lenght of 80cm (32'') for magic loop) and the type of needles preferred for knitting in the round, a small circumference.
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch markers
• Stitch holder or scrap yarn.

SIZES - XS (S, M, L, XL, XXL)

GAUGE

20 sts and 24 rows = 10 cm (4").

NOTE

The Sadie cardigan is knit seamless in a circular yoke from the top down with stitches picked up and knit in 2x2 rib for the collar and front bands at the end.
