Knitting kit | Marlisle Cowl

This is the knitting kit version of the Marlisle pattern. A double-layer cowl knitted with the "Marlisle" technique and our soft MERINO WORSTED yarn.

This cowl is worked in the round. The front of the cowl is worked in the Marlisle Technique using two colors, then the lining of the cowl is knitted in Stockinette stitch using only one of the two colors. The lining stitches are grafted to the cast-on stitches to finish the cowl.

Gauge: 18 sts and 25 rounds = 10 cm/ 4 in worked over Marlisle Pattern.

IN ADDITION TO THE KNITTING KIT, YOU WILL ALSO NEED THE FOLLOWING NEEDLES AND NOTIONS TO KNIT THIS COWL:

• Size 4.5mm / 7 US circular needle - length 60 cm / 24 in or size needed to obtain gauge.
• Blunt tapestry needle
• Stitch marker
• Scrap yarn – a ball of worsted weight cotton in a contrasting color.
