Among all the selected projects, this poncho idea based on the feather theme proposed by Sylvie won the third position by public vote. Here is Défilé de Fées (Fairy Parade) pattern that I wrote especially for Sylvie according to her original idea!'' - Louise

THIS KNITTING KIT INCLUDES

  • The Défilé de Fées Poncho knitting pattern (sent as a digital pdf format) - The pattern is included when you purchase a kit.
  • LOUISE ROBERT COLLECTION - KID SILK [75% kid mohair, 25% silk; 210 m per 25 g] - shown in
    • A - Botticelli 1 x 25g
    • B - Blue Nose 2 x 25g
    • C - Klimt 2 x 25g
    • D - Green Grows 2 x 25 g

IN ADDITION TO THIS KIT, YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING MATERIALS

  • Circular needles (with cable length of 55cm (22'') of 5 mm (US 8) - or size required to obtain the gauge.
  • Stitch markers
  • Tapestry needle

SIZES - ONE SIZE

Final measurements (after blocking)

  • Top circumference = 76cm; 30"
  • Bottom circumference = 152 cm; 60"
  • Length = 62 cm; 24"

GAUGE

28 stitches x 20 rows = 10 cm (4'') with Kid Silk doubled (2 threads held together) in stockinette stitch after blocking.

NOTE

This pattern is worked in the round, from top to bottom, gradually increasing the stitches to fit the circumference of the shoulders.
